Planlux Lighting Design service is provided under the phases written below. A detailed service scope and proposal will sure be provided upon a meeting.

These phases are;

Conceptual Design In this phase we attend meetings with the client and project manager to receive fundamental needs and expectations about the project.  After having the first brief and agreement about the needed service we meet the project team and start to attend workshops. In these workshops we clarify the expectations and ideas of the design team; areas, project flow and team details etc. According to how the project flows we establish lighting project schedule  and focus on the main design criterias. We start preparing the concept presentation. We present our ideas either by sketches or graphics for the needed areas after conceptual workout. In this presentation, our clients can find  light traces, desired needs for the lighting levels, info about the main lightsources and their usage techniques, info about the ideas on luminaires.

Schematic Design and Project development  :  After the approval of the lighting design concept, Planlux designers start  and  ’Schematic Design and Project Development’ phase where the layouts and the types of applications are prepared. Attending the coordinated project control meetings and  the lighting design workshops with the design team is an important issue. Preperation of budgeting (controling the budget and costs means better controling design!) according to schematic lighting schedules is a part of this phase. Custom design luminaires are conceptualised if it’s needed.  According to the schematic application fundamental architectural details and application types are decided. Control schedules and canal lists are also prepared. Fotometrical calculations start and lux levels and shemes are tested. Mockups on site or models are a part of this phase. At the end of the phase schematic project is published to all members of the project management, design and engineering teams with a presentation.

Detailed Design : After the approval of the schematic design by the project teams, Planlux designers start detailed design phase where the final project is prepared. Attending the coordinated project control meetings and  the lighting design workshops with the design team is a continuous  important issue.  Custom design luminaires are detailed. According to the schematic application fundamental architectural details and application types are detailed. Control schedules and canal lists are also detailed with scenarios.  Mockups on site or models are a part of this phase. At the end of the phase final project is published to all members of the project management, design and engineering teams. After this phase Planlux team attends the meetings upon request for tender documantation and review.

Control and Comissioning : Control of manufacturing drawings and construction status report. Weekly/monthly site visits  and equipment/project inspections before installation/commissioning. Checking the details of the applications. Final light adjustments for the equipments and luminaires we designed.
