Planlux is seeking entry level lighting designers with 1-3 years of experience for our office in Acıbadem, Istanbul.

The designer will support the team in the development of concepts, calculations and preparation of documentation. We’re looking for an individual who is motivated and looking to grow with the company.

POSITION
Working as part of the lighting design team to provide a fully integrated design consultancy for projects requiring the very latest in lighting strategies.

Supporting the Principal Lighting Designer on a variety of architectural projects across different sectors including retail, commercial and hospitality.

The successful candidate will be based in Anatolian side of Istanbul.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES;
* Assisting the Principal Lighting Designer with design concepts
* Compiling and presenting design concepts to clients, architects and other members of the project design team
* Site visits for commissioning and snagging
* Being involved in the day-to-day running of lighting projects, with the view to taking on projects of your own
* Assisting in maintaining a professional work environment;
* Willing to travel site when required.

AN IDEAL CANDIDATE
Typically you will have completed your undergraduate degree and have a passion for lighting and creative design along with relevant lighting design experience within the lighting design/architecure / interior architecture profession.

Your experience to date is likely to demonstrate
* An ability to design and deliver high level creative and technical solutions for a variety of projects
* Experience of using AutoCAD, Dialux and any other lighting design software

* Self motivated and able to work well as part of a team
* Excellent conceptual and communication skills
* Willingness to learn
* Good organisational skills
* Ability to work to tight deadlines
